Join us for the second official trail day of 2026.
Give back a little love to the Snowden Trail Network and earn some trail karma!!!
We will meet Sunday March 22nd at 9:45 am at 6 km on the Snowden Main prior to a short drive in on Frog Main to the trail work location.
We will be working on 10 Licks trail and taking care of some minor trail tread maintenance - including replacement of some timed out wood retention logs, as well as some brushing and pruning to improve sightlines. This trail is a key connector from Loveland Bay campground and a great addition to a longer loop from Lost Lake or Lost Frog parking areas.

Note everyone attending the trail day either needs to be an RCCC insured member or needs to complete an online waiver. Non-insured members can sign two waivers before they are required to join.
Bring water and a light snack for the trail day and we will head to Boston Pizza for pizza and beverages after the trail day. Thanks to RCCC supporter CR Boston Pizza for feeding the crew and our Sponsors for keeping them hydrated!

Digging will go until approx 2pm.

Please come prepared with sturdy footwear, gloves, appropriate clothing for the weather and a great stoke for buffing some trails.

Please indicate whether you are “going” at least 48hrs in advance to assist with planning.
You must be be capable of safely hiking into the trail location and capable of moving rocks and dirt, brushing or raking for 3 - 4 hours with short breaks.
Even if you can only make it out for a couple of hours that would be appreciated!
We will have a variety of tasks to do so not everyone will have to move wood or rocks and dirt!

NON-MEMBERS CAN JOIN 2 EVENTS:
Fill out an online Cycling BC waiver. Confirmation can be forwarded to trails@rivercitycycle.ca or print the confirmation and bring it to the ride.
